1248568379419So yesterday in San Diego, California, at Comic-Con 2009, they had the Iron Man 2 panel. Director Favreau, Robert Downey, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, and Don Cheadle all made appearences at the panel. Apparently there was footage that was showed at the panel that was from the movie. They also mentioned that they had finished filming the movie last week. Head over to Spike for more information on the panel.

I really hope that this game does well. Because it looks awesome. I’ve been waiting a long time to see a proper shape shifter game and this game looks like it has the potential to deliver. All I hope is that the button layout will be alright and not too complicated. Anyways hit the jump to see the trailers and videos that were released at CES 2009. Enjoy!

Game Developers Conference is happening next year again in it’s same location, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. This conference is the largest annual gathering of professional video game developers. The event comprises an expo, networking events, awards shows such as the Independent Games Festival and the Game Developers Choice Awards, and a variety of tutorials, lectures, and roundtables by industry professionals on game-related topics covering programming, design, audio, production, business and management, and visual arts.

Hopefully I will get a chance to take time off from work and go to this. As I’ve said before, it’s a great place for networking with all sorts of people from different companies and backgrounds. Also the tutorials that they do there seem very tempting to take as well but it gets quite pricey. For the all-access-pass, including lectures and tutorials and the expo ticket comes to about $1100. Without the lectures its $650 and for just the Expo its $175.  And these prices all go up as the clock ticks down to the day of the event.

Scheduled to be on February 27 to March 1, this event will take place in the Moscone Center South in San Francisco, California. WonderCon started in 1987 and it wasn’t until the founders partnered up with the folks at Comic-Con that the convention actually took off. Since then, the convention has gotten previews to trailers and screeners of movies like Spider-man 2, Batman Begins, Superman Returns and 300. Hopefully next years will not disappoint us.

I will be attending this convention because I will be in California because I am an international business man there for an international business trip. Tickets for pre-registration has not started yet, even thought they say it will start this month. But I will keep you guys posted with info for WonderCon and of course the info I get when I’m there. But in the case that any of you are interested in going, airplane tickets are getting really cheap. It’s now only about $450 (Everything included) for a round-trip from Toronto, Canada to San Francisco, and it’ll probably go down more as our economy plummets.

The world’s largest Technology trade show located in the City of Light, Las Vegas! The invent will last for 4 days, from January 8th to the 11th. This is a HUGE event in both the high tech industry and of course the entertainment industry.

Unfortunately this blog can not cover this event live, due to the fact that it costs too much to get there and even into the convention. The ticket prices to get into the convention isn’t that much $100 for preregistered and $200 at the door, not that much right? For those who want to go to the lectures and panels and stuff that will cost you a little more. For ONLY gaming its $350 now and $550 there but if you want to ALL ACCESS PASS then that’s $1100 now and $1300 there. HOLY CRAP MAN! Not to mention the hotel fees and airplane tickets to get there. It’ll probably end up to about over $3000 for the whole thing. So yeah, that’s why we’re not going but we’ll cover anything random interesting news that gets out of there, mostly new gaming news and gadgets and what not.
