So having Sony deny it a billion times, but having rumour and conspiracies surface like once a week, there is new rumours of Sony finally unveiling this machine on August 18, 2009 at Cologne Gamescon in Germany. $50 has already been taken off the 160GB bundle on Amazon, but some say that Sony has informed European retailers that this console will be €100 cheaper for the 80GB system. We can only hope it does get cheaper and wait for the news to come out on August 18th, if it does.

Since the game comes out in November and the box isn’t exactly what developers should be thinking about right now, this is most likely a demo box for stores like GameStop to put up on the shelves to help build hype for the game.
What I’m surprised about is that they are still using the “Call of Duty” name as part of the title, see how in the teaser trailer those 3 words didn’t even exist.

Supra’s flagship model the Skytop sees a successor in the coming months! The new Supra Skytop II will be revealed at the Agenda tradeshow at Huntington Beach in July of this year. So if anyone is in the area and wants to hook me up with some pictures of what these shoes look like, feel free to do so. I, for one, cannot wait to see them. Cheers.

Valve stated in a recent interview with The Escapist that there are plans in the making for the next major update for Team Fortress 2 which will include a new game mode and also the interview hints at the fact that the next set of unlockables may be for the Engineer class with is all good but what about the rumoured 10th class?! For those of you who don’t know there was huge controversy over a little easter egg hidden in Valve’s other game Left 4 Dead where a cereal box showed the cast of Team Fortress 2 and had the line “Collect all 10″ Sounds seriously interesting read the article [here]

So this appeared on the SquareEnix site, something happening in a week? January 28th? Something important? Apparently its a “new vision” on Final Fantasy XIII. Wait what? Okay? So it’s asking people to register so that you’ll be there for the unveiling of “something” related to FFXIII, whatever it is, I’m sure I don’t have to register to find out.

The Hobbit movie produced by the renowned Peter Jackson and directed by Guillermo del Toro, has been rumoured to be delayed. Originally set to start filiming in the new year, the start of production was said to been postponed until 2010; resulting in the release date to be pushed back to 2012.

I know I am not the first person to post about this but there has been a recent update on Konami’s Metal Gear page and it is simply the splash screen above. What does it all mean? Rumours have been going around trying to decipher what this could potentially translate to console wise. My take after the jump. (more…)
