Penny Arcade Expo is coming to Boston, New York next year. Tickets have started to go on sale. The event will be in March between the 26th and 28th. Tickets are on sale now for $45 for the full weekend. For those who do not know, PAX has always been packed in Seattle and even though they book the largest available space, it still gets packed. Hopefully this will be better in Boston, who knows, might get even worse with more people. Either way, this is a great chance for consumers to play games that are about the released, and it has been the only games convention in America that has always stayed public (unlike E3). Let’s hope they make it annual.

Following up on Annsonn’s post earlier in regards to the SLIM ps3..looks like it’ll be available worldwide starting September 1st and at a whopping 100 dollar discount from it’s original pricing.
The general consensus seems to be that it’s too late for SONY and these sales tactics.. but
I’m now contemplating getting a ps3..though my brother just picked up a 360.. so.. yeah I’m on the fence about the whole thing.

Taylor Swift finally debuts in a video game and the game she shows up in is Activision’s BAND HERO, which is due to come out this fall on the 3 console. What’s Band Hero you ask? Well to get games like Singstar a run for their money, Activision brings out Band Hero to target family. Yes, Activision is going after your children now to suck them into the music instrument genre games. This game will be facing off with Harmonix’s LEGO Rock Band. So yeah, let’s see how it goes.

After several trailers, here’s a featurette interviewing Maurice Sendak and Spike Jonze about the movie. Things like this make me really antsy. This movie comes out in the Fall, so keep your pants on. (note to self)

I just watched the first 2 episodes of Flight of the Conchords Season 2, and I have to say.. I’m liking it so far. Their new songs haven’t made quite the impact as the songs in the first season did, but still quite enjoyable.
