marvel_vs_capcom_2_logoRumor has it that in a few days, http://www.tu4ar.com/ will change from the countdown to an actual website. Links on this page currently leave to Capcom dev stuff.

Everyone is saying that it might be Marvel VS Capcom 2 and that its going to make its appearence on XBLA. Nobody has really said anything about it coming to PSN, but lets hope this happens.

I hope that it’ll be a HD Remix like what they did to Street Fighter. That would be awesome. So awesome that I might need to buy myself a PS3. But we’ll see.

So like everyone else who has played the latest Prince of Persia from Ubisoft, the was obviously lacking gameplay. And the story didn’t even really finish, the end was way to broad. I’d go into more detail but most people probably haven’t even beaten the game yet. But anyways, I guess Ubisoft is following Eidos and releasing content was most likely part of the original game and because of some stupid guy/girl in market said that they wanted to make more money, they are going to make download content for people. FRIGGIN RETARDED.

So anyways, due on February 26, the DLC will serve as an epilogue to the events of the game, along with adding two new player skins, a new boss (though he’s a lazy re-skin), a new area to explore, new moves, a new power move (involving QTEs) and, least importantly, new, incessant dialogue between Elika and the Prince. No word on the price yet so we’ll have to see if it’s actually going to be worth it. There’s also no word if the PC version will get it too, let’s all hope it does.

The Resident Evil 5 Demo hits the xBox 360 on January 26, 2009. That’s less than a WEEK!! PS3 owners will have to wait until February 2, 2009, before they can find the demo on the PSN Store. So this “Exclusive” for the xBox 360 only really lasts a week, so why would you call it an exclusive? Makes no sense to me. Hit the jump to read more.

So since Nintendo is telling Harmonix to go stab themselves about the whole “Wii Hard Drive” issue. Harmonix is now working with SanDisk, and they are going to release Rock Band SD cards, where you simply download the songs to the SD card from the store. This is scheduled to come out in spring sometime for about $13 USD.  (Not that bad I suppose). So yay for the Wii owners with Rock Band 2, using the SD slot as an external storage for games, but a hard drive of some sort would be better, c’mon on Nintendo.

So the Metal Gear Solid 4 Download content is finally coming to PSN. It will be available in North America on December 23, 2008 and on Christmas Day, December 25, 2008 in Japan. Seems like they will be added some new components to the game. They are introducing a paintball gun! Where you can not shoot at obstacles and all that great stuff. Can’t wait to see how this all plays out. Individual characters are $2 each, the four-character pack is $6. And the big-ass level pack? It’s $6, which is a steal considering it comes with a bonus character (a soldier dude) and a ton of junk for your LBP levels. I believe the 4 costumes you get are Snake, Raiden, Meryl, and B&B’s Octopus. Hit the jump to watch the video of all this good stuff.

Street Fighter Apparently there’s a possibility of Street Fighter-themed costumes that may become available as DLC for Little Big Planet. If so, those oddly likable Sackboys and -girls have suddenly gotten a lot more awesome. They’re already awesome to start with too. What does that make it?
