Yeah, I know it`s been out for like 5 months now but I think it deserves a review because I think it is that good and I want to write about it as well as me wanting to get back into writing game reviews. I loved this game and I just sad that with an amazing game like this the sales didn’t match up so if you haven’t played this game and own a PS3 believe me when I say that YOU SHOULD OWN THIS GAME to support the developers. This game has been out for the PS3 in North America since October 17, 2009 and the game was developed by Naughty Dog. Hit the jump for the full review.
Sony’s Answer to the Wiimote: Playstation Move March 11, 2010

To yesterday at GDC 2010 in San Fran, California, Sony’s press conference finally showed us their motion controller the Playstation Move. It is pretty much a more sophisticated Wiimote (with the Motion Plus). Yes the coloured ball looks funny at first but it actually makes sense to have it when your playing games because you have to think of it like a green screen and using the EyeToy camera it tells the PS3 where your controller is how far it is from the screen and etc but it can tell where the top of your hand is, so from that ball (on screen) it can extend something like a sword or a baseball bat or something. Also to note is that the controller will be bundled with the EyeToy AND a game,Sports Champions (sounds like Wii Sports Resort to me), and all that will be under $100 USD. Hopefully that will help get that initial install base out there. Another good thing that Sony is trying to push for is to get 3rd party developers use the Playstation Move on their AAA titles. Like Little Big Planet (well Sony owns them now) and Socom 4.

The guys at Sony recently have decided to NOT offer their AAA PS3 titles downloadable via the PSN. This being something totally different from Microsoft, who has recently put out Mass Effect (the first one) on Xbox Live for $20 downloadable a few days before Mass Effect 2 came out. Some people are saying that this is a mistake on Sony’s part but personally I think this is a very logical choice on Sony’s part. (more…)

Following up on Annsonn’s post earlier in regards to the SLIM ps3..looks like it’ll be available worldwide starting September 1st and at a whopping 100 dollar discount from it’s original pricing.
The general consensus seems to be that it’s too late for SONY and these sales tactics.. but
I’m now contemplating getting a ps3..though my brother just picked up a 360.. so.. yeah I’m on the fence about the whole thing.

So having Sony deny it a billion times, but having rumour and conspiracies surface like once a week, there is new rumours of Sony finally unveiling this machine on August 18, 2009 at Cologne Gamescon in Germany. $50 has already been taken off the 160GB bundle on Amazon, but some say that Sony has informed European retailers that this console will be €100 cheaper for the 80GB system. We can only hope it does get cheaper and wait for the news to come out on August 18th, if it does.

Starting this August, Sony will be start shipping their netbook, the Sony Vaio W. This 10.1 inch netbook will have all the specs of what most of the netbooks out there will have including: 1.6GHz Atom processor, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, Windows XP, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n, VGA out, two USB ports, Ethernet, webcam, and MemoryStick / SD card readers. It comes with a 3 cell battery which will last you about 3 hrs but of course you can op for a 6-cell battery as well. The only feature that is kind of cool because its a Sony product is that there is software that will allow you to stream videoes to and from your PC and PS3.
There’s no 3G OR GPS option, or is there a SSD option as well. The price is $499 which asks for is most than most of the netbooks in the market now, but then again, its Sony. The netbook comes in 3 colours: white, black and pink. Hit the jump for more pictures.

GamersConsoleNetwork scored a big scoop this morning, pulling the first images of the PSP Go (running LittleBigPlanet) out of the latest edition of Qore, which apparently went live early.
In the video:
• Grand Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, Jak & Daxter and Metal Gear are all either confirmed or mentioned.
• The Go’s 16 gigs of flash memory and bluetooth support (“You can also tether it to your cell phone,”) are touted.
• PSP Go will not replace the PSP-3000; the 3000 will still be kept on the market.

Got a Kindle2 or PRS-700? Looking for mangas that you read on it? chan and i bought ebook readers a month ago and we (when i say we i mean I) love it! Unfortunately due to budget reasons, we got the Sony PRS-505. It doesn’t have WiFi, it’s not a touch screen, there’s no backlight, and there’s no keyboard, its JUST an ebook reader. I have an iPod for all that other stuff. And believe or not, this thing is actually thinner than my first generation iPod Touch. Hit the jump for more: (more…)
New Special Edition PS3 Revealed, Final Fantasy Style January 19, 2009

So I don’t know what is “Beyond High Definition” but anyways, Sony just won’t stop making these “Special Edition” PS3. They’ve got one for Metal Gear and Resident Evil, so they HAVE to make one for FF7, there will probably be another one for FFXIII when it comes out, probably one for Gran Turismo. Crazy Sony. May that’s why they are losing money, they are spending so much time trying to figure out how to get the same person a PS3 two or three times. Hit the jump for more info.
