Last night I had the pleasure of going to Sidecar, one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time.  It’s a cozy little restaurant in Little Italy, downtown Toronto.  Even though it was packed to capacity, someone is always there to greet you when you come in and take your coat.  I ordered the Sea Bass, which came with a side of mini potatoes and green beans and the whole thing drizzled with a delightful vinaigrette.  Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Hit the jump for more details:

Sidecar, as the name suggests is also known for it’s cocktails.  They have a variety of classic cocktails in which they’ve added their own twist.  They also have recommendations on their menus of which cocktail goes best with your main course, which serves to be very handy for those of you that aren’t big boozers.

For those of you looking to dine somewhere nice for that special occasion, this place is priced fair.  They also offer a special “Prix Fixe” for $22 Sunday to Wednesday, where you choose a starter and main course and dessert is chef’s choice.

I will definitely return!
